How to Use a Cold Press Juicer
A cold press juicer is easy to use once you understand the basic routine. Good preparation, a steady feeding pace, and immediate cleaning will help you make smooth, fresh juice without unnecessary mess.
Before You Begin
Place the juicer on a dry, stable countertop and make sure all removable parts are clean. Position the juice container under the juice outlet and the pulp container under the pulp outlet.
1. Wash and Prepare the Ingredients
Rinse fruits, vegetables, and herbs thoroughly. Remove hard pits, thick peels, damaged areas, and any parts that should not be eaten.
Cut large ingredients only when needed to fit the feed chute. Apples, carrots, cucumbers, celery, citrus fruits, leafy greens, and ginger are all beginner-friendly choices.
2. Assemble and Lock the Juicer
Install the juicing bowl, auger, filter, and feed chute according to the product manual. Before switching on the machine, check that every part is aligned and securely locked.
3. Add Produce Gradually
Turn on the juicer and add ingredients a little at a time. Let the auger pull the produce into the machine naturally rather than forcing it down.
For smoother processing, alternate soft and firm ingredients. For example, place spinach or herbs between pieces of apple, carrot, cucumber, or celery.
4. Clear a Blockage Safely
If the juicer slows down or an ingredient becomes stuck, stop feeding produce and use the reverse function for a few seconds. Return to the normal setting once the blockage has cleared.
Never place your fingers, knives, or other utensils inside the feed chute.
5. Stir and Serve
Fresh juice may separate naturally. Stir it gently before serving and enjoy it soon after preparation for the best flavor and freshness.
Leftover juice should be placed in a clean, airtight container and refrigerated promptly.
6. Clean Immediately After Use
Turn off and unplug the juicer. Remove the juicing components, empty the pulp container, and rinse the removable parts under running water.
Use the included cleaning brush on the filter and small openings. Allow every part to dry completely before reassembly, and check the manual before placing any component in a dishwasher.
An Easy First Recipe
Green Apple Refresh
Use 2 green apples, 1 cucumber, 2 celery stalks, ½ peeled lemon, and a small piece of ginger.
Add the ingredients gradually, alternating apple with cucumber and celery. Stir the finished juice and adjust the flavor with extra lemon or ginger.

Beginner Tip: Start with three or four familiar ingredients. Once you understand how different produce moves through the juicer, you can add leafy greens, herbs, and seasonal fruits. |
Make It Part of Your Routine
The best juicing routine is a simple one: prepare ingredients carefully, feed them gradually, and clean the machine right away. With a little practice, making fresh cold press juice can become an easy part of your morning or afternoon routine.
